Our Aims and Ambitions Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar University has been established by an Act of UP State Government in the year 2006. The University campus is located about 12 km away from the railway station of Rampur on the left side of the road leading to Tehsil Tanda, and along the Kosi River, which forms its natural boundary and flows along the university campus for a distance of ca. two and a half km. The envisioned university comprises of Schools of Science, Life Science, Humanities, Law, Education, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Allied Health Science, Mass Communication, Languages, Theology and Agriculture.

The beautiful lush green salubrious campus covering 350 acres of land at present is emerging as a mini civilization, showing convergence of education, culture and technology with nature. Facilities are being developed in the campus for indoor games like badminton, table tennis, as well as outdoor games & sports such as football, hockey, cricket, lawn tennis, volley ball, basketball and horse riding. Construction of a stadium with athletic tracks and gymnasium is also in the offing so as to ensure sound physical health of students, an essential component for their overall personality development. Huge modernized buildings with large intervening spaces and wide roads with attractive landscapes, following the current trends and latest designs, are the hallmark of the green, lively and vibrant campus. A large magnificent mosque with a capacity to accumulate 50,000 worshippers forms the focal point of the university. We aim at offering multidisciplinary teaching and research at a level of excellence that few universities can match with. We shall leave no stone unturned for modernizing and promoting our educational programs coupled with a firm commitment of public service with an outreach to local and global communities. It is our earnest desire to come up with an academic infrastructure that opens a world of opportunities to the people of Rampur and adjacent areas by providing meaningful education and professional training at an affordable cost.
